I'm disturbed by this

Six Flags to Build Park in Dubai

I'm not against corporations. I'm not against globalization. I'm not against Six Flags and I'm not against Dubai.

But I am against what looks like the U.S. and U.S. companies "Americanizing" the rest of the world. Why must we make every other country like us? Is it because we don't want their people living here? Why don't we help them make their own countries strong and stable and culturally-relevant to their own histories?
